The idea for DRYYP started with a sweat — not in a luxury spa, but on the Irish coast. Back in 2020, Mike was living in Dublin, playing basketball for UCD Marian, and discovered the early sparks of a sauna movement there. It started as a way to recover post-practice with teammates… but quickly turned into something deeper. Sauna sessions weren’t just physical recovery — they were community, conversation, and calm.

After moving back to Connecticut, that ritual stuck with him. And over the years, as Mike and Meg visited Ireland together, they watched the sauna scene explode — mobile wood-fired saunas popping up at beaches, harbors, and parks. It was inspiring, grounding, and honestly kind of addictive.

We knew Connecticut needed this.

DRYYP is our way of bringing that same energy stateside — a mobile sauna and cold plunge experience that helps people reset, reconnect, and feel good. Whether it’s a quiet solo session, a birthday hang, or a pop-up at your local brewery, we’re here to create space for presence and community — one event at a time.
